Notice of Faculty Vacancy in Printmaking

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in printmaking, and possibly other courses such as drawing, 2-D design, or art appreciation. Continue an active research practice that leads to national/international recognition for excellence in printmaking. Contribute to departmental service, including, but not limited to, managing the printmaking area, assisting with curriculum development, serving on committees, and nourishing the intellectual life of the department and University.

Qualifications: Master of Fine Arts degree with a solid foundation in lithography, intaglio, relief, and serigraphy including a strong interest in integrating the newest technologies with traditional printmaking technologies. Be conversant in the history, theory, and critical issues in printmaking and contemporary art. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational skills. Have successful teaching experience at the university level and possess a strong exhibition record. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity.

Rank/Salary: Assistant Professor, tenure track appointment. Salary will be commensurate with preparation, achievements, and experience.
